The Bistro Terrace
The Bistro Terrace is a spacious free-flowing space which includes an outdoor terrace and overlooks the sparkling haven of Brisbane Water. This space is perfect for cocktail style or seated dining events. The adjoining Dining and Southview Rooms provide the option to expand your space.
The Bistro Dining Room
Light & bright, this beautiful space is ideal for your special occasion dinner. It can be decorated for a fabulous casual coastal vibe or more formal white-cloth dining. The Bistro Dining Room looks out onto the magnificent marina with breathtaking water views beyond. This is the perfect place to capture a beautiful burnt-orange sunset. This elegant space is best suited for dinners.
The South View Room
The south view room is the favourite spot for small groups & parties. This casual space offers plenty of sitting/table space plus the bar is right next door. We can add a boardroom table to cater for meetings & private dinner parties.
The Boatshed Bar
The Boatshed bar & boardroom is the ideal spot for small corporate groups & business get-togethers. This light and bright room offers a spacious area with a casual vibe that is best suited for a business meeting or team offsite, training session, product launch or showcase. You will also have plenty of space for mingling. You can also request adding the Boatshed bar deck if you would like to have private use of this indoor/outdoor area and expand your space.
The Boatshed Bar Deck
The Boatshed bar deck is the favourite spot for informal events. This spacious outdoor deck is right on the water with the opportunity for stunning sunshine and a fresh breeze. It includes outdoor seating with umbrellas as well as a newly-installed weather-proof awning so you can enjoy being outdoors without worrying about the weather. With retractable glass doors, you can access the Boatshed Bar boardroom to create an expansive indoor/outdoor area.
How do I book a function?
Please complete an enquiry form on our website and our Function Coordinator will make contact with you. Alternatively, you can contact our Functions Coordinator at02 4325 7216to discuss your function requirements and check availability.
Is a deposit required to secure my booking?
Yes. To secure your booking we require full payment of the Room Hire which will be issued via invoice.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for detailed information on our Cancellation Policy.
Can I book the whole venue for my function?
Of course! Please submit an Enquiry via the form on our website to start the process, and our Function Coordinator will contact you to discuss.
Do you provide AV equipment?
Yes, we have a Portable TV, Bluetooth Speaker, Microphone and Whiteboard available at no extra charge.
Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Please inform us of any special dietary needs when confirming your menu selection. Our Chef will be happy to accommodate these requirements with care and confidence.
Under 18 year old guests/minors
Gosford Sailing Club is a family-friendly venue and welcomes guests of all ages. If your group includes minors, please let us know in advance. As a fully licensed venue, we operate in accordance with our Liquor License and comply with the Responsible Service of Alcohol laws in NSW. Please note that all minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 25 at all times. Minors are required to begin departing the premises by 9pm. Minors are not permitted in the bar or gaming area and must be supervised by the water.
Can I hold my18th/21st birthday at Gosford Sailing Club?
Prior approval of the Club Management and the Board of Directors is required for all 18th and 21st Birthday Celebrations. You may also be required to source a minimum of 1 Security guard who will remain present throughout the function. Beverage Packages are not available for 18th’s and 21st Birthday Celebrations.
Do you allow Fancy Dress or themed functions?
Gosford Sailing Club maintains Dress Code Regulations to uphold the high standards of our venue. Whilst we all love a good old Fancy Dress or Themed function, costumes should be in good taste and not include any offensive or inappropriate elements. If you or your guests have any concerns about your/their attire, please contact the club in advance to avoid any issues on the day.
Can I arrive early to decorate/set up?
Access to room for set-up is 30mins prior to function. If more time is required, please discuss this with your Function Coordinator. Please Note Glitter and Confetti are not to be used, including confetti filled balloons. An additional cleaning charge will be required if these are used. Helium balloons are not to be released under any circumstances.
Payments
All fees will be issued via invoice. Please process payments via direct transfer, or you can pop in to the club to process payment at the bar.
